DIRECTV said on Tuesday that it added five more The CW stations to its DIRECTV STREAM service.
The stations range from WOTV-CW in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to KELO-CW in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
DIRECTV has been busy adding more The CW affiliates to its lineup as it works to create more parity between its core satellite TV service and DIRECTV STREAM. It added four earlier this month (including WNCT-DT2 in Greenville, North Carolina) and four in January.
The CW is going through a transformation after broadcasting giant Nexstar purchased a majority stake in the network. The company and has been pushing to transform it into a more general interest network and away from its roots as the home of teen dramas and DC superhero shows. In the last few months, it’s added sporting events like LIV Golf to its lineup.
