Just before Thanksgiving, YouTube TV announced that it had reached a deal with TelevisaUnivision to bring its U.S. networks back to YouTube TV’s Base Plan and Spanish Plan. Those channels, including Univision, UNIMÁS, TUDN, and Galavisión, are being added back today.

An email to YouTube TV subscribers today says:

We’re happy to share that we’ve reached a deal with TelevisaUnivision to bring their content back to YouTube TV. You now have access to TelevisaUnivision channels, including Univision and UniMas, and any recordings that were previously in your Library. Your personal preferences and recommendations are just as you left them.

‌If you were previously subscribed to Vix Premium, you can add that subscription back to your YouTube TV membership by going to Settings > Membership.

We apologize for the disruption and appreciated your patience as we negotiated on your behalf. As a reminder, family managers have the ability to cancel anytime.

Thanks again for being a valued YouTube TV member.

The channels were removed after failed negotiations for a carriage agreement on September 30. The two sides were in disagreement about whether the channels should be available only on the Spanish Plan or offered as part of the Base Plan.
