Tubi, one of the largest free ad-supported streaming, has been slowly growing its lineup of free movies and TV shows. Tubi now accounts for 1.4% of all streaming in the United States, according to Nielsen. Slowly and quietly Tubi has been growing its lineup of live channels and now has 250 live channels streaming for free.
Live channels are not the end of what Tubi has to offer. Now according to a recent interview Cord Cutters News had with Samuel Harowitz, the Head of Content Acquisitions & Partnerships at Tubi, you will now find almost 60,000 on-demand movies and TV shows on Tubi.
The combination of 250 live channels up from the old number of 200 and more importantly 60,000 on-demand movies and TV shows makes Tubi a great way to watch free content for cord cutters.
This growth has come as Tubi now has over 450 partners to supply content to Tubi. One of the biggest new partnerships that Tubi has made to expand its live TV lineup has included a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. This deal added over 15 live channels from Warner Bros Discovery
“Warner Bros. Discovery has a catalogue that TV lovers can’t get enough of and Tubi is proudly making many of these recent hits from Warner Bros. Discovery available to new audiences this month,” said Adam Lewinson, Chief Content Officer, Tubi. “From critically acclaimed and groundbreaking to lighthearted and addicting, our new WB branded FAST channels and on-demand offering will speak to each of Tubi’s distinct audience communities.”
Free ad-supported services have recently become one of the hottest areas in cord cutting. Once seen as just full of old content, they now have a huge collection of new high-quality content.
Tubi is available for free on Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Xbox, Playstation, Google TV, Chromecast, Tivo, Android, Xfinity, and more. You can also watch the shows for free on the web at TubiTV.com. With almost 60,000 on-demand titles and 200 live TV channels, Tubi is a great option for cord cutters.
