Amazon’s Fire TV has long been the leader in free video channels; however, with so many channels to choose from, finding the best can be difficult. With many new Fire TVs sold at the end of 2019 recently many have been asking for recommendations for the best free services on the Fire TV. So here is my personal list in no particular order.

Today, we’re looking at ten free Amazon Fire TV apps with their own unique and extensive movie collections.

Pluto TV

Pluto has over 100 channels of programming, from news to sports to binge-worthy series. With over 1000 movies and full episodes of on-demand content, you’ll always have something new to watch.

Fawesome.tv Movies

This app not only has a library of 10,000 movies and TV episodes available for free, but updates the content daily. Browse movies in 25 genres including action, thriller, horror, and comedy.

Tubi

Tubi offers 100% free and legal unlimited streaming. Look for award winning movies and TV series in a wide variety of genres, from kid friendly content to classics to anime.

Hoopla

If your local library is partnered with Hoopla, you’ll have free access to an entire digital media collection, along with music and audiobooks. Just sign up with your library card and sign in on your Amazon Fire device.

Kanopy

Just like Hoopla, with Kanopy you can watch and listen to a digital media collection with your library card. Check to see if your local library partners with Kanopy to sign up and start watching.

The CW

In addition to the latest full episodes of CW shows like Riverdale and Supergirl, The CW app also has a selection of on-demand movies to watch anytime you want.

Crackle

Crackle has a library of blockbuster movies, hit TV shows, and exclusive originals. The lineup is always being updated and is always free.

XUMO

For free live and on-demand streaming, XUMO is a great option for the whole family. You’ll find channels in 12 genres, along with an extensive collection of on-demand movies to choose from.

IMDB TV

Amazon just rebranded IMDB Freedive to IMDB TV and, in the process, announced that they would be adding even more content to the free app. The app is loaded with movies and extras to make the most of your viewing experience.

STIRR

STIRR is one of the newer free streaming services. With a huge collection of both live and on-demand options STIRR as quickly become very popular with cord cutters makes it a great option for Fire TV owners.
