The NBA has continued its expansion into the digital frontier, with its upcoming NBA on Prime debut, this season rewrites the playbook for how you can watch hoops without cable. When the 2025 NBA regular season tips off in a couple of months, for the first time in two decades, the league returns to NBC and its streaming home of Peacock.
The world’s best basketball players return to NBC Sports after 8,532 days, with a lineup of 100 regular-season games this year. The best part is that you can stream the NBA on Peacock across your favorite devices. All of NBC’s coverage of NBA games will also stream live on Peacock, including three weekly appointment nights: Peacock NBA Monday, Coast 2 Coast Tuesday, and Sunday Night Basketball.
NBA on Peacock 2025 Highlights
NBC Sports is going all in on this year’s lineup of games with many slam dunks for NBA on Peacock:
- Tip-Off Doubleheader on Oct. 21: The season gets rolling with an NBA Tip-Off exclusively on NBC/Peacock
- 7:30 p.m. ET — Rockets at Thunder (OKC ring ceremony & championship banner raise)
- 10 p.m. ET — Warriors at Lakers (featuring the LeBron–Curry rivalry)
- Peacock NBA Monday (Starting Oct. 27): Every Monday, Peacock will deliver 1–3 exclusive games, beginning with a doubleheader:
