MLB fans who are subscribed to T-Mobile will be able to watch live out-of-market games on MLB.TV for free this upcoming season. The cellular company announced via its T-Mobile Tuesday App that subscribers are eligible to receive a free annual subscription to MLB.TV, for the 7th straight year, which usually costs $139.99 at regular price.

T-Mobile users are getting the notification below on the app.

With MLB.TV, T-Mobile subscribers can stream live out-of-market games that aren’t nationally broadcasted on ESPN, FOX, MLB Network, or on the league’s new homes: Peacock’s Sunday Morning Baseball and Apple TV+’s Friday Night Baseball. Like previous editions, blackout restrictions apply to MLB.TV 2022, and fans cannot watch local market teams.  Find out which teams near you are subject to blackout by entering your zip code here.

For the upcoming season, MLB.TV is looking to hit a home run with new features such as MLB Big Inning and pregame and postgame shows. Big Innings will give fans the best action from around the league, 7-days a week, with live look-ins, breaking highlights, and big moments, as soon as they happen throughout the season. On Opening Day 2022, the pre/postgame shows for 13 teams will be featured on MLB.TV: Arizona Diamondbacks, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Guardians, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Angels, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, St Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays, and Toronto Blue Jays.

Also new for 2022, the streaming app will have an updated look and interface, which will include a new set of playback controls, inning milestones, a personalized scoreboard, and an expanded content library. In addition to on-demand highlights and content, MLB.TV’s library will feature originals like Vendors and Out Of The Park Films, along with returning shows: MLB Carded and Baseball Zen.

Opening Day for the 2022 MLB regular season is set for Thursday, April 7 with the first pitch taking place at Yankee Stadium when the Boston Red Sox visit the New York Yankees at 1:05 p.m. ET. Those who are subscribed to T-Mobile before April 7 can redeem the free MLB.TV offer beginning on March 29 by clicking an exclusive link in the T-Mobile Tuesday app.
