After a dominant Game 1, the Oklahoma City Thunder host the Minnesota Timberwolves for Game 2 of the 2025 Western Conference Finals, airing on ABC and ESPN.
During Game 1, the Thunder’s defense proved too much for Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves, outscoring them 114 to 88. Dynamic scorer and 2025 NBA MVP Shai Gilgeous‑Alexander led all scorers with 31 points, pushing the Thunder to victory. For the T-Wolves, Julius Randle’s team-high 28 wasn’t enough to keep the game close, especially after superstar Anthony Edwards was in foul trouble with four. The Wolves will have to figure something out if they want to return to the Target Center with a tied series and the No. 1 seed will look to scheme up a defensive gameplan as they did in Game 1.
