How to Watch the New York Yankees

Baseball on the Infield Chalk Line

The 2024 MLB season is here, and you don’t need an expensive cable package to watch your favorite team. This guide will let you know which streaming services you can use to watch the New York Yankees without cable.

Which Channels Show New York Yankees Games?

This depends on where you live. If you live in the New York Yankees market, games are primarily broadcast on YES Network, the regional sports network for the New York Yankees. DIRECTV STREAM is currently the only live TV streaming service to offer YES Network in its channel lineup.

If you don’t live in the New York Yankees market, you can watch games with MLB.TV. The service allows subscribers to stream out-of-market MLB games live or on-demand on their favorite supported devices. (Note that blackout and other restrictions apply, based on geography, so be sure to check the restrictions for your zip code on the website before starting your subscription.)

Nationally televised games will be available on ESPN, FOX, FS1, and TBS. The chart below shows which streaming services carry each of those channels. Some games this season will also stream on Apple TV+ and Peacock, and Amazon Prime Video will exclusively stream select Yankees games.
