Fans of Peanuts and Charlie Brown and the gang will be happy to know they can continue watching the holiday specials this year. After announcing their Peanuts licensing deal last year, Apple TV+ has been the home of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and friends. Like last year, the Charlie Brown holiday specials will air on PBS and PBS Kids for those who do not have a subscription to Apple TV+.

However, the PBS and PBS Kids airing of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving took place on November 21. Subscribers to Apple TV+ can watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving on-demand in the app.

Peanuts fans will have the opportunity to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas on PBS and PBS Kids on December 19 at 7:30 PM ET. Subscribers to Apple TV+, can watch A Charlie Brown Christmas whenever they choose since it is available on-demand in the app. Plus, the service has announced a new original Peanuts special that will be airing later this year.

How to Watch

With an Apple TV+ subscription, subscribers can watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and many other shows and movies for only $4.99/mo. The service also includes a free 7-day trial.

AntennaWeb is a great tool you can use to find out which channel in your area carries PBS and PBS Kids

Cord cutters have two services to choose from when it comes to streaming PBS and PBS Kids.

  • YouTube TV offers both PBS and PBS Kids with over 85 other channels for only $65 per month.
  • DIRECTV STREAM  has PBS Kids and over 60 channels in its Entertainment package for only $70 per month.

Physical copies of the holiday specials can be found at a number of online retailers.
