Apple TV+ Announces New Original Peanuts Holiday Special

Apple TV+ has announced a new original Peanuts holiday special “For Auld Lang Syne” which will premiere globally on Friday, December 10 on the streaming service. This marks the first original holiday special to come from Apple TV+ in expansion with its partnership with WildBrain.

In the special, after the Peanuts gang experience a disappointing Christmas because Grandma can’t visit, Lucy resolves to throw herself the best New Year’s Eve party ever, while Charlie Brown struggles to accomplish just one of his resolutions before the clock strikes twelve.

In addition, the classic Peanuts holiday specials are back in HD on Apple TV+, including “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

Apple has also teamed up with PBS to air the iconic specials on PBS and PBS Kids at the following times:

  • “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” – Sunday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT
  • “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” – Sunday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT
  • “A Charlie Brown Christmas” – Sunday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. (check local listings)

You can stream PBS and PBS Kids on YouTube TV and DirecTV Stream.
