While there are many live TV streaming services to choose from, two stand out when it comes to sports. In this post, we’re updating our comparison of fuboTV and Sling Orange from Sling TV.
Plans and Pricing
fuboTV doesn’t have multiple packages to choose from but does have a standard plan with a lengthy list of add-ons to customize your viewing experience. A fuboTV subscription costs $54.99/month.
When subscribing to Sling TV, you can choose between Sling Orange and Sling Blue. Both have a regular price of $25 per month. Recently, Sling introduced the Total TV Deal. That deal offers seven of Sling’s add-on channels, along with 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage for an extra $20/month. That brings the total of Sling Orange and the Total TV Deal to $45/month.

With fuboTV, you’ll get 93 channels for $54.99/month, making the cost 59 cents per channel.
For Sling Orange with the Total TV Deal, you’ll pay $45/month for 102 channels, or 44 cents per channel.

Simultaneous Viewing
With a fuboTV account, you can stream on up to 2 devices simultaneously. If you upgrade with the Family Share Add-On, you’ll be able to watch on up to 3 devices at once.
Sling Orange allows one stream at a time. If you add Sling Blue, you’ll also had 3 additional streams.
Cloud DVR
Each fuboTV subscription includes 30 hours of Cloud DVR storage. Recordings are saved indefinitely. There’s also an option to upgrade to Cloud DVR Plus, giving you 500 hours of Cloud DVR storage for an additional $9.99/month.
Along with the seven add-ons, the Total TV deal from Sling TV includes the Cloud DVR add-on. With that add-on, you’ll get 50 hours of DVR storage, the ability to record and watch live TV, fast forward through commercials, keep your recordings for as long as you’re a customer, and record multiple shows at once.
