FuboTV Expected to Reach 545,000 Subscribers in Q4

FuboTV disclosed preliminary Q4 revenue and subscriber numbers Tuesday, with the sports-focused streaming service estimating that it will reach 545,000 subscribers when those numbers are officially released.

FuboTV also shared projections for revenue, expecting Q4 revenue to be between $94 and $98 million, a 77% increase year over year.

“FuboTV’s strong preliminary fourth quarter 2020 results exceeded what was already expected to be a record year for the company, and demonstrate continued consumer excitement for the company’s live TV streaming offering,” co-founder/CEO David Gandler said in a statement.  “In 2021, we will continue to be laser focused on executing our growth strategies, which include continuing to grow advertising revenues, working to implement sports wagering into our product and further establishing FuboTV as a leader in sports and live streaming.”

While FuboTV’s subscriber base continues to grow, the streaming service comes in below Hulu with Live at 4.1 million subscribers, YouTube TV with 3 million subscribers, and Sling TV with 2.46 million subscribers.
