DIRECTV STREAM has been busy recently adding CW affiliates now though DIRECTV has added 3 new free channels to its streaming service. These channels include Origin Sports, Power Nation, and Nosey. With this move it helps expand the number of free stations included in the DIRECTV STREAM library.

Nosey TV

Power Nation

Over the last few months DIRECTV has also been adding more CW affilaties. The new CW stations added last month include from WOTV-CW in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to KELO-CW in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
These new The CW affiliates create more parity between its core satellite TV service and DIRECTV STREAM. It added four last month (including WNCT-DT2 in Greenville, North Carolina) and four in January.
The CW is going through a transformation after broadcasting giant Nexstar purchased a majority stake in the network. The company and has been pushing to transform it into a more general interest network and away from its roots as the home of teen dramas and DC superhero shows. In the last few months, it’s added sporting events like LIV Golf to its lineup.
