Crunchyroll said on Wednesday that it is now available on LG smart TVs, widening the potential reach of the anime streaming service.
The company said the service live on all LG WebOS-powered televisions running on version 4.0 or newer, which means sets that came out in 2018 or later.
The news comes amid a big push by Crunchyroll to expand its service to meet the growing popularity of anime. Earlier this month, the service went live on smart televisions from LG’s crosstown rival, Samsung. In October, it launched a 24/7 free, ad-supported streaming service The Roku Channel, Vizio WatchFree+, and Freevee, which Amazon will reportedly shutter in the coming months.
During CES, Sony disclosed that Crunchyroll had surpassed 13 million paid subscribers.
Subscribers can choose the basic Fan tier for $7.99 a month which unlocks the entire Crunchyroll library. The Mega Fan and Ultimate Fan plans cost $9.99 and $14.99 respectively, and come with perks like off-line downloads and access to mobile games.
