Apple Just Released The New Apple TV App

Today Apple started to roll out their new Apple TV app that was announced in March to all Apple TV owners. With this new update, beta testers will be able to test out new features like subscribe CBS All Access, HBO, Starz, AcornTV, Britbox, CuriosityStream, MTV Hits, Shudder, and more from the Apple TV app.

With today’s update, you can get the following channels:

  • HBO
  • Showtime
  • Starz
  • Cinemax
  • Epix
  • Smithsonian Plus
  • PBS Living
  • Acorn TV
  • Sundance Now
  • Lifetime Movie Club
  • Urban Movie Channel
  • Tastemade
  • Curiosity Stream
  • MTV Hits
  • Comedy Central Now

Apple has also announced that the Apple TV’s new app will be coming to Samsung, Vizio, LG, and Sony TVs. The Apple TV app is coming to Roku and the Fire TV.  Sadly we don’t know when the Apple TV app will roll out on other devices.

The new Apple TV app also has a new Kid section. Here you will find kid-friendly content from across multiple streaming services.
