After a wait of nearly two years, the Amazon Prime Video hit series The Boys has made its long-awaited return. Season 4 will consist of eight episodes in what is expected to be the show’s penultimate season.
Series mainstays who are returning for another season include Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chase Crawford, Timer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti. Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are joining the show as new characters, and Jensen Ackles may reprise his role as Soldier Boy.

The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander (Anthony Starr), who is consolidating his power. Butcher (Karl Urban), with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.
