Are you using YouTube TV or YouTube and seeing a ton of buffering today you are not alone, and the issue is widespread. A message on YouTube TV’s help page YouTube says, “If you’re experiencing buffering issues on YouTube our team is aware and working on a fix. YouTube TV or NFL Sunday Ticket may also be impacted.”
Update: Google has confirmed to Cord Cutters News that this issue has been fixed. The notice listed above has also been removed from the help pages.
Sadly there is nothing you can do to help fix this issue until Google can fix it. They have not issued a statement as to what is causing the issue, but it has been happening for about two hours now.
This issue has been causing poor-quality streams and buffering. Since NFL Sunday Ticket started this is the first time YouTube has had such issues during Sunday afternoon football.
For now, just sit tight and hopefully, it will be fixed soon. The issue is on Google’s end not with your WiFi or streaming device.
