Today, YouTube and YouTube TV announced several improvements to NFL Sunday Ticket. With this you will now be able to create a multiview lineup of up to 4 games at once

Here is how they describe the new YouTube TV NFL Sunday Ticket update: “Get the ultimate fan experience right in your living room: creating the optimal multiview combination is now in your control. We began testing the ability to build a multiview earlier this year, but we’re excited to now make it available for NFL fans on both YouTube and YouTube TV.”

This update first rolled out for basketball earlier this year and is now coming to NFL football games. The multiview is still streamed from Google servers, but now they have every possible combination available.

NFL fans who do not pay for Sunday Ticket will also find improved multiview options for local NFL games.

Here is how the new improved multiview will work.

Here are some other new features being added this year.

  • Hide scores for specific teams using spoiler mode, so you avoid final scores or live previews from appearing before you’re ready to start watching
  • If you’d like more advanced playback controls to get closer to the action, we have a feature for YouTube TV members. While watching a game live on your TV, select the three dot more menu to find the “Broadcast Delay” option. From there you have the option to choose between “decreased” or “default.” The feature will stay on until you disable it to go back to default. “Default” is best to minimize the chance of playback interruptions; “Decreased” is best to reduce live spoilers
  • For the channel surfers, we have our latest jump to last channel shortcut. Viewers can quickly go back and forth between channels, making sure they don’t miss any of the action. Just press and hold the Select or OK button on the remote to switch back to the last channel
