Last week, YouTube TV began a limited rollout of its fully customizable multiview feature, allowing subscribers to mix and match up to four live channels on a single screen. Today, the streaming service officially launched the feature.

The announcement about the launch came from CEO Neal Mohan, who posted on X.

The feature was first announced in a January 2026 blog post about YouTube’s priorities for the new year. In that post, Mohan wrote “Building on our success in the living room, we’re driven by the simple belief that TV should be easy. We’ll soon launch fully customizable multiview and more than 10 specialized YouTube TV plans spanning sports, entertainment and news, all designed to give subscribers more control.”

To start, the feature was made available on an account-specific basis to a small group of U.S. users on both TVs and mobile devices.

To start a multiview, open a live channel and look for the Multiview icon at the bottom of the screen. Tap on Watch in multiview, then Build a multiview to see the content available to add.
