This week YouTube’s new CEO Neil Mohan confirmed earlier reports about new features will be coming to YouTube TV this fall when the NFL Sunday Ticket joins YouTube and YouTube TV.

Google reportedly spend $2 billion for NFL Sunday Ticket, and they have big plans. Now the new CEO is confirming what other YouTube staff have said.

“Subscribers will see features from YouTube TV — like the ability to watch key plays — added to the main YouTube app,” Mohan wrote. “And creators will connect with sports fans through coverage and commentary. Sunday Ticket will also come with ways to engage with other fans, including comments, chats, and polls. Coming later this year to YouTube TV: a new feature that lets viewers watch multiple games at once.”

This is very similar to what YouTube’s CBO Philipp Schindler said in February.

“On YouTube TV, we’re building the ability for subscribers to, for example, watch multiple screens at once, and on YouTube we’ll be adding new features specific to the Sunday Ticket experience, like comments, chats, polls, and so on,” said Google Chief Business Officer Philipp Schindler. “On the creator side, imagine all the creative ways they can create with exclusive NFL content, behind-the-scenes event access and so on. We’re really excited to see what they will do across long-form, short form, livestreams and more.”

For now, it seems if you want the ability to watch multiple games at once, you will need to pay for YouTube TV. You will be able to watch NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube if you don’t want YouTube TV but it will cost extra and may not have all of the features.

We have also learned that NFL Sunday Ticket will offer multiple packages allowing you to pick a cheaper more limited package if you want.
