Today YouTube TV announced a new monthly payment option and a cheaper Student Plan for NFL Sunday Ticket. Now customers can pay four payments of $99.75 for NFL Sunday Ticket. The one catch is subscribers in Georgia, Minnesota, Missouri, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, and Tennessee, will only be able to subscribe to the yearly option. Google did not say why they are not offering monthly options in these states. YouTube says these monthly payment options will start rolling out over the next few weeks.

YouTube TV also announced they would be adding a cheaper NFL Sunday Ticket plan for students but didn’t announce the price. According to YouTube TV, they will announce the plans within the next week.

Here is how YouTube TV describes the monthly payment plan option:

NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube and YouTube TV can now be purchased in most locations through a payment plan of 4 monthly payments, equivalent to the same price available to you if purchased in a single payment. For example, with a monthly payment plan, you could pay for your purchase of the NFL Sunday Ticket Primetime Channel for $99.75 today and then 3 more payments of $99.75 over the next 3 months.

If you purchase NFL Sunday Ticket through a monthly payment plan, your purchase is made once your first payment has been charged and you won’t be able to cancel your membership for the season you purchased. You will be automatically charged on a monthly basis for all remaining payments due for that season.

YouTube also said that they will be adding live chat on the screen to NFL Sunday Ticket. This will be optional and will work in a very similar way to YouTube’s current live chat on live streams.

YouTube will also offer real-time NFL highlights in YouTube Shorts during the games. This will let you quickly see the latest action across YouTube.

YouTube also confirmed once again that Multiview will be available with NFL Sunday Ticket. Here is what YouTube announced about multiview today:

Since launching early access in March, we’ve been refining the multiview experience so that all viewers, regardless of their TV device, are able to enjoy the feature. During this upcoming NFL season, NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers will be able to choose from an extensive assortment of multiview combinations every Sunday afternoon. If you signed up for the NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone package, your multiview options will include both out-of-market games and RedZone, whether you’re watching from YouTube or YouTube TV.

On YouTube TV, multiview combinations will also include local NFL games side-by-side with your NFL Sunday Ticket games. And even if you’re a YouTube TV member without NFL Sunday Ticket, you can still enjoy using multiview to watch NFL games and college football this fall. The more multiview, the merrier!

We are now just a few weeks away from the start of the 2023-2024 NFL season. Look for more updates on NFL Sunday Ticket to come as we get closer to the start of the season.
