YouTube TV is the first live TV streaming service to announce that they will stream the Beijing Winter Olympics in 4K. The Games take place from February 3 through February 20, and YouTube TV will off NBC’s coverage in 4K.

So far, NBC has only announced that live streaming of the XXIV Olympic Winter Games will be available on Peacock, but they have not made any official announcements regarding 4K coverage. NBC did offer the Summer Olympics in 4K last year, so an announcement could be made soon. Recently, they’ve been rolling out content in preparation for next month’s games, including 3 new documentaries.

As of today, YouTube TV is the only streaming provider to announce that they will be offering the games in 4K. During the Summer Olympics, fuboTV, DIRECTV STREAM, Sling TV, and other multi-channel services offered 4K coverage of the games, so they could soon have announcements in the works.
