youtube tv logoOne of the main complaints about the YouTube TV app has been the fact that the New in Your Library area had a few issues.

One of the main issues with the New in Your Library area was that unless you watched the full show or movie it would stay in that area. This means you often had a long list of shows you already viewed in that list. YouTube TV has updated their app to address this issue.

Now if you watch a few seconds of a show or movie from the New in Your Library area it will be removed from New in Your Library. Many are still hoping for a menu option that will let you quickly remove a show you don’t want, but for now, this is a huge improvement to the YouTube TV app.

This comes after YouTube TV started to roll out an updated Roku and Xbox app with a slightly updated user interface. With this new YouTube TV update, you get a new preview window that increases the preview image, making it far easier to fast-forward and find the exact spot in the show you are looking for.

No word on when all devices will get this new feature but, so far, all the reports of the new user interface have been on Roku. During the May test, Xbox also received the update but there are no reports of it rolling out on Xbox today.
