Today The CW Network’s parent company Nexstar Media Group, INC. announced a new deal with YouTube TV. With this deal, YouTube TV will continue to have access to the CW Network for years to come.

“We are extremely pleased to have reached agreement to continue carriage of its CW-affiliated stations on YouTube TV, especially as we move forward with our plans to transform The CW with additional sports programming and a new slate of prime-time entertainment shows this Fall,” said Dennis Miller, President of The CW Network.  “YouTube TV is an important partner for our affiliates and us, and we look forward to expanding our relationship and growing our audience via this dynamic platform.”

This deal will add 59 new Nexstar Stations including 29 CW-affiliated television stations, its 26 MyNetworkTV affiliates, and its four independent stations in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Oklahoma City, and Baton Rouge.

Nexstar bought 75% ownership of The CW from Warner Bros. Discovery in October 2022. This deal will ensure no issues as the new owner continues to put their stamp on The CW.

No details on how much the deal was worth have been released but YouTube TV subscribers should expect their CW Network to remain in their lineup.
