Yesterday YouTube TV started to add locals at first it was just a handful of independent locals but now even more networks have gone live. Over the last 24 hours, YouTube TV has added 26 MyNetworkTV affiliates that are owned by Nexstar. If you have a custom guide on your YouTube TV you may want to check to see if you have some new locals.

This news was first announced back in March YouTube TV and Nexstar Media Group, INC. The CW Network’s parent company Nexstar Media Group, INC. announced a new deal with YouTube TV. With this deal, YouTube TV will continue to have access to the CW Network for years to come and will add even more local affiliates now though we are finally getting a date for some of these networks.

“We are extremely pleased to have reached agreement to continue carriage of its CW-affiliated stations on YouTube TV, especially as we move forward with our plans to transform The CW with additional sports programming and a new slate of prime-time entertainment shows this Fall,” said Dennis Miller, President of The CW Network.  “YouTube TV is an important partner for our affiliates and us, and we look forward to expanding our relationship and growing our audience via this dynamic platform.”

This deal will add 59 new Nexstar Stations, including 29 CW-affiliated television stations, its 26 MyNetworkTV affiliates, and its four independent stations in Chicago, Washington, D.C., Oklahoma City, and Baton Rouge. Now it seems most if not all of these locals have been added to YouTube TV.

This news comes as YouTube TV announced last week that starting today June 30th, the SNY channel will no longer be available on YouTube TV. At 11:59 p.m. ET, viewers will no longer be able to watch live content or access any previously available content stored in their personal libraries recorded from SYN channels. However, members will still be able to watch select Mets games on FOX, ESPN, and TBS through YouTube’s Base Plan. This was one of the last RSNs YouTube TV had.

Have you noticed other locals go live on YouTube TV? Leave us a comment and let us know what you find. We will be working on building a full list of channels that YouTube TV added today.
