Are you a YouTube TV subscriber that has been asked to subscribe to Max in order to watch programs from Warner Bros. Discovery? You are not alone, and Google has announced that they are working on fixing that glitch.
The glitch causes programs from Max to appear inside your library alongside your DVRed content and YouTube TV’s on-demand library for customers who don’t pay for Max. This causes a lot of confusion when customers click on a show they DVRed or think is a part of the video-on-demand library, only to be asked to pay extra for Max.
The good news is YouTube TV has announced that they are aware of this glitch and are working on fixing it.
YouTube TV lets you subscribe to multiple add-ons, including Max, through the service. Once you subscribe to many of these add-ons, you can access the content directly through YouTube TV. Now, it seems as though the integration for Max is not working as it should.
This all comes as YouTube TV continues to work on improving its library, which shows all of its on-demand content and DVRed programs.
For now, this glitch seems to be limited to the library watching live channels seems to be unaffected by this glitch. For now if you are impacted by this glitch try going back to your library and select a different version of the program you want to watch.
