Yesterday YouTube TV started to roll out an updated guide and user interface to their live TV streaming service. This update includes the ability to look further into the future with the live TV guide using a browser. You will also find minor changes in YouTube TV’s apps like a new popup asking if you would like to start the show from the beginning or from live. These updates seem to be slowly rolling out on the web, Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku.
Here are a few of the changes you will notice:
- New Channel Guide on the web version of YouTube TV.
- New and improved popup asking if you would like to start from live or from the beginning.
- Updated DVR menu that removes the air time for many programs.
YouTube TV typically rolls out these updates slowly to their devices. If you do not see them now give it a few weeks and you will likely get the YouTube TV update.
