Good news for anyone who paid for NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV. You should be getting an email offering you four months of Max for free.
Recently Google announced that they had reached a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to offer NFL Sunday Ticket and Max from Warner Bros. Discovery at a special price. This was announced during Google’s 2nd quarter 2023 earnings call. At the time, they gave no details on how this offer would work. Now it seems the offer, at least for now, is four months of Max free when you pay for NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV.
Earlier today, YouTube TV started to notify qualifying customers who have NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube TV off the offer. To qualify, you must be a YouTube TV customer and subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket. (Note many customers are reporting server errors when they try to signup. If you experience this issue, wait and try again later.)
Currently, YouTube TV subscribers with a Base Plan, the NFL Sunday Ticket add-on without max during the presale for just $299 for the season, a special offer savings of $50 off the retail price of $349 for the season. YouTube TV will also offer a bundle option with NFL Sunday Ticket and NFL RedZone for a total of $339 for the season during the presale, another launch offer of $50 off the retail price of $389 for the season. YouTube TV subscribers will have access to every Sunday game, including local, national, and out-of-market games.
If you are not a YouTube TV subscriber NFL Sunday Ticket is available on YouTube during the presale at $399 for the season, a special launch offer savings of $50 off the retail price of $449 for the season. And the bundled NFL Sunday Ticket and NFL Redzone option is available during the presale at $439 for the season, a launch offer of $50 off the retail price of $489 for the season. This will allow you to watch out-of-market games on YouTube without YouTube TV.
