Are you struggling to get YouTube TV to work on iOS mobile devices? You are not alone, and Google has officially confirmed the issue in a statement posted on Reddit. It seems iOS devices are experiencing buffering issues.
The engineering team is aware that some of you are experiencing buffering issues while watching live content on YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels across iOS mobile devices. They’re working on a fix and I’ll circle back when I have updates to share. Thanks for your patience!
Update: YouTube now reports the issue has been fixed and the iOS app should be working now.
For now, it seems the issue is limited to iOS devices and Google says they are busy on a fix. No updates have been posted since this original statement.
Many users started to complain of the issue earlier this morning, suggesting the problem started overnight.
