Do you love fantasy football? Now, you will be able to link your YouTube TV account to your NFL.com Fantasy Football League. This will allow you to track your fantasy team inside the YouTube TV app as you watch NFL games with NFL Sunday Ticket.

This new feature is, at this time, only available inside the YouTube TV mobile app on Android. Desktop and other apps at the time of this publication do not seem to have this new feature yet. In the past, this feature has also been offered on iOS and through your web browsers on laptops and desktop computers.

This feature was first released back in 2020 for YouTube TV, but now YouTube is adding support for NFL Sunday Ticket to give you all of your fantasy league details even if your players are not local.

Fantasy League data is not new to NFL Sunday Ticket. When DIRECTV ran the network, it offered a dedicated channel for fantasy content. Now, YouTube TV seems to instead be building this data directly into the NFL Sunday Ticket experience as you watch games. Sadly, exactly how that will work is unknown at this time as YouTube TV does not say how it will display this information. It is very likely that the NFL Sunday Ticket fantasy feature will be very similar to what it has done in the last two seasons.

In the description for this feature, YouTube TV says:

By connecting to your NFL ID account, the NFL can access information about your NFL Sunday Ticket subscription status and watch activity for eligible NFL videos across YouTube anytime the “connected” status appears in video player settings. THe NFL may share info with YoUTube about your NFL ID account and NFL.com Fantasy Football Data, and they will administer all rewards.

Cord Cutters News has reached out to YouTube TV for comment on how the fantasy league feature from NFL.com will work. We will update this post as we learn more.

You can find this feature on Android by going to Settings and selecting Sports.
