Over the last few weeks, YouTube TV has slowly been adding more locals, mostly from the Nexstar Media Group. Now it seems in most areas, you will find your local The CW and MyNetworkTV affiliates. YouTube TV has also started to add other locals owned by Nexstar Media Group, like DV News Now a 24/7 news network that offers local news and weather in the greater Washington DC area.
This comes as earlier this year, YouTube TV and Nexstar agreed to a deal to bring more of its local TV stations to YouTube TV. Now it seems that this deal did more than just add more local The CW & MyNetworkTV affiliates to YouTube TV.
Over the last few weeks, multiple new The CW and MyNetworkTV affiliates have gone live on YouTube TV. These include channels in Atlanta, Providence, Hartford, Virginia, and Connecticut, to name a few.
Cord Cutters reached out to YouTube TV for comment on all the new channels, but at the time of this posting, we have not received a reply. As best we can tell YouTube TV now offers most of The CW affiliates and MyNetworkTV affiliates.
