YouTube TV has expanded its lineup of 4K channels, including popular networks like Comedy Central and Paramount.
In total, six new channels are now available in 4K. They are:
- BET in 4K
- Comedy Central 4K
- Paramount 4K
- VH1 in 4K
The lineup expands YouTube TV’s 4K lineup, which previously amounted to just a few channels, including ESPN and NBC. Keep in mind that you’ll have to subscribe to YouTube TV’s 4K Plus tier to access the higher definition content.
It is also important to note that not all programing on these channels is in 4K. Much like with FOX and ESPN, the 4K option will only show when the content is broadcast in 4K. It does appear that YouTube TV has some movies now on-demand from these networks in 4K that can be seen at any time.
