youtube tv logoYesterday YouTube TV started testing a new guide on Roku, Apple TV, and more. Apple TV users will also notice that when they launch the YouTube TV app it will auto-play what YouTube TV thinks is the top-picked channel for you. This was first spotted by a Reddit user who posted screenshots of it HERE.

The good news is you can turn off the auto-play. Now in the settings, you will find a new setting that gives you the option to automatically play one of your top recommendations when you open the app. A YouTube TV employee posted on Reddit saying that this update is slowly rolling out to all living room devices and isn’t device-specific. That means some Roku and Android TV users should now be seeing the update.
