WWE Will Continue Streaming Live Events on Peacock Even With Netflix Deal

As the WWE heads to Netflix next year, many fans were left wondering if Peacock will continue to host content from the network.

During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, WWE President Nick Khan said that Netflix will be the home for premium live events internationally while Peacock will remain WWE’s partner in the U.S.

Khan said the deal with Netflix is for RAW globally, with a few exceptions.

“Our current partner in the United States on all of the premium live events like WrestleMania is Peacock on NBCU,” said Khan, according to WrestleTalk. “They’ve been tremendous partners. This deal with Netflix is for premium live events outside the United States, excluding certain territories where we have existing deals like India, for example.”

The WWE was not available for comment.

The deal is reportedly valued at $5 billion over ten years. It will make Netflix the home for RAW in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Latin America. Outside the U.S., Netflix will also host SmackDown, NXT, and WWE premium live events, including WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, and SummerSlam.

In the U.S., SmackDown will air on USA Network, and NXT will debut on The CW this October. The WWE has a deal with RAW to air on USA Network until October, leaving the show without a host network ahead of November’s Survivor Series and the last three months of the year.

WWE’s partnership with Peacock expires in 2026. The companies could continue their deal past then, but so far, neither has confirmed a decision. As the WWE merges all content on Netflix outside of the U.S., it may eventually decide to do so in the States for a more unified streaming front, but the network is under contract to stay with Peacock for now.

As RAW moves to Netflix, this marks the first time it hasn’t had a home on linear TV since its launch. Starting next year, if you want to watch RAW, you’ll need to subscribe to Netflix – which will include an extended three-hour coverage – and watch Peacock for WWE’s live events.
