Wicked is Now Streaming: Here’s How to Watch

After making over $734 million at the box office, Wicked has finally made its way to the small screen and is now available to stream at home. The Universal film is now streaming on Peacock, offering both a regular version and a sing-along version.

Originally a Broadway musical, the theatrical version of Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba and Ariana Grande as Galinda. The film also stars also stars Michelle Yeoh and Madame Morrible, Jeff Goldblum as the Wizard and Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero.

Wicked is the untold story of the witches of Oz. The story revolves around Elphaba, a misunderstood young woman who has yet to discover her true power, and Galinda, a popular young woman who has yet to discover her true heart. The two unlikely friends meet at Shiz University and build a bond as they embark on an adventure to meet the Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Their extraordinary adventures will ultimately see them fulfill their destinies as the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. 

The full story has been broken into two parts, with part two coming in November 2025. Right now, you can watch part one on Peacock, with plans starting at $7.99 per month.
