After a successful, traditional theatrical window, Steven Spielberg’s musical West Side Story is heading to streaming. The film will be available to stream on two platforms: Disney+ and HBO Max on March 2.

This news comes after West Side Story landed seven Academy Award Nominations yesterday, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Rachel Zegler, and Best Supporting Actress for Ariana DeBose’s performance as Anita.

Ahead of the streaming launch, Disney+ has a documentary called Something’s Coming: West Side Story – A Special Edition of 20/20 currently available to stream on the platform. The doc features discussions and interviews with the cast and crew, including Puerto Rican actors and creative artists and journalists. You can stream it now on Disney+.
