This week the NFL and Netflix announced a deal that will offer two NFL games on Christmas Day. So, how much would it cost to watch every NFL game for the 2024 season?
If you want to watch your local games and the games on different streaming services, it will now cost $88 a month if you use an antenna to watch just your local NFL games for your 2024 season if you have an antenna. This works out to $75 for Amazon Prime Video for five months of Thursday Night Football. Peacock will cost $6 for the Peacock-exclusive game and Netflix will cost you $7 for the Christmas Day games.
You could add NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube for $621. This will give you every single NFL game for the 2024 season both in your local area and across the nation.
If you don’t have an antenna and you need a streaming service to get your local channels that will cost $437.94 a year for YouTube TV. That will bring the cost to stream every single NFL game for the 2024 season to $1,058.94.
The NFL is looking for new ways to get revenue by partnering with streaming services for a handful of NFL games. This move is bringing in millions of dollars in new revenue that the NFL did not previously have.
This brings in new subscribers to streaming services that hope will stay around after the NFL games air. The question now is will NFL fans stay making the investments YouTube and others have paid worth it.
