AMC has become a standout network with some of the best TV still on cable TV. From The Walking Dead to Better Call Saul, AMC has been releasing hit after hit recently.
The good news is you no longer need to agree to a two-year contract and pay cable TV to get access to AMC live. Now you can pay for AMC just when you want it and save a ton over cable TV.
The following is our short guide on how to watch AMC.
Live TV
AMC is currently available on several live TV streaming options including Sling TV, PlayStation Vue DIRECTV NOW, and YouTube TV.
The Least Expensive Option
If all you want is a cheap way to get AMC, Sling TV is what you want. For $20 a month you can get AMC and watch all of your favorite shows.
Other Options
PlayStation Vue and DIRECTV NOW both also offer AMC. The best thing is they both offer a free trial allowing you to test them out and see which one has the channels you want.
YouTube TV
If you live in one of the few markets YouTube TV is in, check it out. YouTube TV offers live access to AMC, but you must live in one of a handful of cities to access it.
On Demand
If you don’t care about live and especially if you only want one or two shows from AMC, buying a season pass may be the way to go. Many services such as iTunes and Amazon allow you to buy a season pass upfront and get the show the next day. Although you may end up paying $20 to $30 upfront it’s a lot less expensive than paying $20 to $30 a month every month to watch one show.
