Yesterday Cord Cutters News reported that Walmart might move the sale of Walmart’s new $19.88 Google TV Onn dongle up. Now this morning, Walmart has quietly started selling the device at least in local stores, according to their website. In the past, Walmart listed it as out of stock at all stores.
This new device will be the cheapest 4K Google TV device on the market and will be sold under the Walmart Onn brand.
Originally reported as being for sale on May 1st Walmart’s websites now list it as available in stores around the United States.
This new device is fairly powerful for the price, with 2GB of ram and a respectable processor. Though compared to the $50 Chromecast with Google TV 4K, this device is not as powerful, but for less than half the price, it is a good deal.
