Walmart has begun stocking its latest addition to the Onn family of streaming devices, the 2026 Onn 4K Pro Streaming Box, at select retail locations for an attractive price of $60, according to a Redditor who was able to get their hands on one. This early availability comes ahead of a formal launch announcement, giving eager consumers in areas such as California a chance to get their hands on the new Google TV-powered player.

The Onn Google TV Pro stands out with its robust internal specifications, boasting 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. These upgrades represent a significant improvement over earlier Onn models, which typically offered lower amounts of memory and capacity. The increased RAM enables smoother multitasking and faster navigation through the Google TV interface, while the generous storage allows users to install a wide array of applications, games, and additional content without quickly running out of space.

At the heart of the device is a quad-core CPU utilizing efficient Cortex-A55 cores paired with an ARM G310 V2 GPU. This combination delivers reliable performance for 4K streaming, ensuring that popular services like Netflix, Disney Plus, and YouTube run seamlessly in high definition. The player supports advanced video and audio formats, including Dolby Vision for enhanced picture quality with superior color accuracy and contrast, as well as Dolby Atmos for immersive three-dimensional sound experiences.

Connectivity options have been modernized with the inclusion of Wi-Fi 6 technology, which provides faster wireless speeds and better handling of multiple devices on a home network. For those preferring a stable wired connection, a 100MB Ethernet port is available. The device also features a USB 2.0 port for connecting external storage or peripherals, though this marks a slight reduction from the USB 3.0 found in some previous versions.

Software-wise, the streamer runs on Google TV, complete with preinstalled Gemini artificial intelligence capabilities. This integration promises more intelligent content recommendations and enhanced search functionality powered by AI. Users can enjoy hands-free voice control, allowing them to issue commands simply by speaking to the device. Smart home enthusiasts will appreciate the Matter over Thread support, which facilitates seamless integration with compatible IoT devices.

Additional thoughtful features include a microphone toggle switch on the back for privacy-conscious users and a Find My Remote function to quickly locate a misplaced controller. The compact design makes it suitable for various setups, from primary living room televisions to secondary displays in bedrooms or kitchens.

Walmart has not accounted for the new streaming player, which is normal for Walmart. They often just start to appear in stores and slowly roll out as stores get stock of the player. At this time, Walmart does not have the Onn 4K Pro 2nd gen listed on its website. As soon as we can get our hands on one, we will do a full review.
