Walmart+ Members Can Now Upgrade Their Free Paramount+ to Add Showtime & Ad-Free Streaming

Do you have Walmart+ with the free Paramount+ ad-supported plan? The good news is that you can now if you want you can upgrade it to include Paramount+ with Showtime and get Showtime content and an ad-free experience.

A Walmart+ subscription typically runs $12.95 per month and $98.00 per year, while a Paramount+ Essentials subscription costs $5.99 separately. Paramount+ Essential plan is an ad-supported on-demand streaming platform that lets you stream on three devices simultaneously.

Now for an extra $6.49 a month or $64.99 a year, you can get Paramount With Showtime and enjoy an ad-free experience of Paramount+. Typically, this plan costs $11.99 a month, but if you already have Walmart+, you can get it for just $6.49 a month or if you prepay for a year, get it for about $5.41 a month.

Paramount+ offers over 40,000 films and series from family-friendly entertainment, reality series, live sports, and must-see dramas. New content is added every week from Paramount, CBS, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., MTV, BET, Comedy Central, and the Smithsonian Channel. You’ll also get access to over 50 original programs and 2,000 live broadcasts, such as UEFA Champions League, the NFL on CBS, and CBS News.

Walmart+ members get more perks than just a free Paramount+ membership. They also get free delivery, free shipping, and discounts at over 14,000 gas stations. Most members save around $1,300 every year by signing up to simplify their shopping according to Walmart.

To upgrade to this plan check the settings in your Walmart+:

  1. Go to your Account page.
  2. Select Walmart+.
  3. Select Video streaming with Paramount+.
  4. Select the Upgrade button.
  5. Select the Manage plan button.
    1. Monthly members will pay monthly.
    2. Annual members will pay annually.
  6. Find Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.
  7. Select Choose this plan.
  8. Select a payment method.
  9. Select Start Paramount+ with SHOWTIME.

Steps to downgrade back to Paramount+ Essential:

  1. Go to your Account page.
  2. Select Walmart+.
  3. Find Video streaming with Paramount+.
  4. Select the Manage plan button.
  5. Find Paramount+ Essential.
  6. Select Choose this plan.
  7. Select Change to Paramount+ Essential.
