Walmart’s annual summer savings event, Walmart Deals, returns with an expanded lineup of discounts and more ways to shop, running from July 8 to July 13, 2025. Kicking off online at 12 a.m. ET on Tuesday, July 8, and in stores at local opening times, the six-day event offers thousands of deals on electronics, home goods, fashion, toys, beauty products, and back-to-school essentials from brands like Samsung, Vizio, Dyson, and Sharpie. This comes just as Amazon will also be doing its Prime Day 2025 in July 2025.
For the first time, Walmart Deals will be available both in stores and online, providing customers with flexibility to shop through in-store visits, curbside pickup, or home delivery. The retailer has enhanced its app and website with AI-powered search and browsing features to help shoppers navigate the extensive selection more efficiently. Walmart+ members gain early access to the event, starting at 7 p.m. ET on Monday, July 7, giving them a head start on the savings.
“From barbecues to back-to-school, we know this is a busy shopping season for our customers,” said Megan Crozier, executive vice president of General Merchandise at Walmart U.S. “This year’s Walmart Deals event features a wider selection of products, including wellness finds and everyday essentials, to help families save on both wants and needs.”
The event includes significant discounts on a range of products. Notable tech deals include a 32-inch Samsung Smart Monitor for $199.00 (down from $299.99), a 50-inch Vizio QLED Smart TV for $238.00 (was $298.00), and a Dyson V7 Advanced Cordless Vacuum for $229.99 (was $399.99). Outdoor and seasonal items, such as the HART 40-Volt 21-inch Self-Propelled Mower Kit for $374.00 (was $548.00) and an Ozark Trail 20×10-foot Pop-Up Canopy Tent for $139.77 (was $199.67), are also featured. Unique pre-order items include a 75-inch DIY Nutcracker for $159.00 and a 55-inch DIY Gingerbread House for $100.00.
With back-to-school shopping starting earlier each year, Walmart is offering deep discounts on classroom essentials. Highlights include 24-count Crayola Crayons for $0.50 (was $1.44), 24-count Sharpie Permanent Markers for $14.97 (was $19.55), and 8-count EXPO Markers for $6.47 (was $9.28). Deals on backpacks, laptops, and lunchboxes aim to ease the financial burden for families and educators preparing for the new school year.
Walmart is also emphasizing convenience with multiple delivery options, including Express Delivery in under an hour, next- and two-day shipping, and in-store pickup. The retailer’s upgraded digital tools aim to streamline the shopping experience, making it easier for customers to find deals and complete purchases.
The Walmart Deals event underscores the retailer’s focus on affordability and accessibility, catering to diverse shopping preferences during a peak summer season.
