Good news for fans of Google TV who want a cheap streaming stick. According to an FCC filing spotted by Zatz Not Funny, Walmart is building a new Google TV streaming stick that will offer HD video and could cost around $15, according to Dave Zatz.
According to this FCC filing, Walmart is getting close to releasing a new Onn Google TV streaming stick. Unlike the dongle they recently released, this one won’t be 4K but will offer 1080p HD or, as Walmart calls it, Full HD.
The exact details are unknown, but Dave Zatz, who has a great track record with these discoveries, suggests that this device could come in at around $15.
We don’t know when this device will be released but now that the new Google TV device is through the FCC it could be released at any time.
