Hate ads on YouTube but not sure you want to pay for YouTube Premium? If you are a Verizon customer, you are in luck. Starting later this week, Verizon customers with myPlan can get YouTube Premium for just $10 a month.
In July, YouTube quietly raised the price of YouTube Premium by $2 a month to $13.99 (or an annual subscription of $139.99). With Verizon’s plan, you will save $3.99 a month versus paying Google directly for YouTube Premium.
With Verizon’s offer you not only get ad-free YouTube with YouTube Premium, but you also get the ability to download videos for offline viewing, early access to new features like A-powered answers, and YouTube Music Premium. Often, Premium subscribers have access to new features that non-premium members never get to use.
Google also has recently started to crack down on ad blockers when you try to watch YouTube. During that crack down, they pushed YouTube Premium subscriptions as a way for viewers to avoid ads.
If you want to take advantage of this offer, qualifying Verizon customers can sign up starting May 30, 2024.
