Verizon Will Give You 12 Months of Disney+ Free Even If You’ve Already Paid

People looking at smartphonesYesterday, we reported that Verizon is giving away a free year of Disney+ to all Verizon customers with unlimited data plans. After that announcement, there were questions from those who have already prepaid for a Disney+ subscription.

Verizon has now commented that the offer is available for those who have preordered their subscription. Customers who have already preordered their Disney+ subscription will have that subscription paused while enjoying the free year from Verizon. After the free year, the subscriptions will pick back up through Disney.

This means that Verizon customers who took advantage of the three year prepay deal with Disney+ will receive one free year, followed by the three prepaid years, then will continue with a normal subscription.

Verizon also noted that there are about 50 million customers who are eligible for the free year of Disney+.

Disney+ launches on November 12th. A subscription (without promotional pricing and special offers) will cost $6.99/month or $69.99/year after a 7 day free trial.
