Verzion customers who are looking to stream the latest releases on Netflix can do so for free beginning on March 12. The cellular giant announced that customers with their wireless, 5G Home, or LTE Home plans can get a year of Netflix’s premium plan for free through +play.
To take advantage of the offer which is an annual savings of $240, customers must purchase an annual subscription from a selection of +play partners, including AMC+, Calm, MasterClass, the Peloton App, STARZ, and Super Duolingo.
If you’re looking to add another streaming option then you can subscribe to Paramount+, which was added to +play as a partner today. The streamer offers thousands of shows, movies, live sports, and curated content for Women’s History Month.
Whether you choose Paramount+ or any of the services mentioned above, you have a limited time to take advantage of the free year of Netflix, so subscribers should act quickly.
“+play – and our offer with Netflix – demonstrates Verizon’s leadership in bringing the best, most loved content partners and services together for the benefit of the customer. +play features never-before-seen offers and bundles that give consumers the power to purchase the types of services and experiences they want at prices they’ll love. It’s a marketplace for our partners to leverage even broader direct-to-consumer reach and engagement, and it advances Verizon’s strategy of innovating and building new business models on our award-winning network,” said Erin McPherson, Chief Content Officer of Verizon Consumer Group.
With +play, Verizon customers currently sign up for subscriptions for Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Discovery, and AMC+. The service allows customers to manage and pay for their subscriptions all in one place. Plus, +play gives Verizon customers exclusive access to savings on services that they can’t get anywhere else.
On March 12, not only can customers take advantage of the Netflix offer, but +play will introduce over 20 new partners, including Blue Apron, FlixLatino, Hallmark TV, Marquee TV, Quello Concerts by Stingray, Wondrium, and more.
