Roku unveiled the new Roku Voice Remote Pro (2nd Edition) in April 2025. The new version lets users upgrade their older Roku TVs and Roku players with new features that aren’t found with the older Roku remote.
Right now, the Roku Voice Remote Pro is on sale for $25.58, its lowest price ever and 15% off of the normal price.
This new remote includes motion-activated backlit buttons, so it knows when you pick it up and will automatically turn on the backlight. The old micro-USB charging port has been replaced with USB-C. The new Roku Pro Remote 2 also includes a dedicated guide button, bringing you to the Roku Guide to access your OTA Antenna and streaming free channels from The Roku Channel in a single location.
Two programmable buttons have been replaced with a single button—now with a rocket ship. The button can be set to take you to your favorite app, allowing you to quickly navigate to the content you watch the most.
The new Roku Voice Remote will be included with the new Roku Pro TVs but is also available on its own to replace older remotes.
