As 2017 comes to an end, we get our first look at some of the biggest events of the year. Today Twitter announced their most viewed events in 2017.

Maybe it is no surprise that elections were some of the biggest events on Twitter. Between the US and UK elections they took the top two spots.

Third place is also no surprise because the Eclipse of 2017 was a major event.
