Do you ever have trouble finding what to watch next on your favorite streaming service? Tubi has rolled out its Scenes feature to help viewers easily determine what to watch on the world’s largest content library.

With Scenes, viewers can find what to watch next by scrolling through short clips from movies and television shows in Tubi’s catalog of over 250,000 titles. Scenes is part of Tubi’s product strategy to provide effortless entertainment on mobile, as the platform uses machine learning and AI models to surface fandoms and rabbit holes to discover and explore for a personalized experience.

“Currently, users either get a shrunk down version of their TV streaming app on their phones or are limited to quick vertical videos on social platforms. We believe there’s a better way to meet the needs of mobile users on the go, allowing them to watch both short form video and long form within the same app,” said Mike Bidgoli Chief Product and Technology Officer at Tubi. “By creating features that leverage the strengths of each device, we can create an effortlessly entertaining experience for viewers looking for quick bursts of entertainment on the go that transition seamlessly to their living rooms.”

The Scenes feature can be found on the navigation bar on iOS and Android devices in the Tubi app. Simply like or save the content to “My List” within Scenes, and the content will become increasingly personalized to help viewers find their next movie to watch or show to binge. Once the content is saved to My List, you can watch your liked and saved titles on your choice of the more than 30 devices Tubi is available on.

Here’s an example of how Scenes looks within the Tubi app:

Tubi looks to continue evolving the mobile experience by bridging the gap between users with mobile and OTT devices to prioritize viewers wherever they are. Scenes enhances the mobile viewing experience by giving users a quick shot of entertainment on the go that they then can save for later.

By saving the titles to “My List” viewers can cast their newly liked titles to a bigger screen for a more traditional viewing experience. Plus, as your likes become more personalized, Scenes will recommend more titles that you may be interested in. For the titles that you scroll away from and do not save or like, Tubi will learn what not to recommend to enhance a more curated individual experience. These recommendations can help users watch more hidden gems that may have been forgotten over time in what the company has dubbed “NEWstalgia.”

Having such a large library and a vast selection of titles from a wide range of genres is why Tubi is the most-watched free TV and moving streaming service in the US with a reach of more than 81 million active users. From originals to live sports and everything in between, including 250 live channels, the platform is continuously adding more titles to watch and users can check out the full lineup of titles that were added to Tubi in November.

The free streamer offers over 300 Tubi Originals like the upcoming Sidelined: The QB and Me, We Got Time Today, and The Z-Suite. It’s also expanding its NBA G League coverage, including live playoff games for sports fans, and serving its audience with Stubios, Tubi’s fan-fueled studio for aspiring filmmakers and fans. Jokes On Us: New Voices in Comedy will be the first released Stubios project on December 5.
