Tubi Announces F1 Altcasts, New Content, and More Ad Types

Free streaming service Tubi made a few announcements today during ‘Tubitopia: An Advertiser’s Paradise,’ at IAB NewFronts in New York, around ads and programming.

For viewers, the ad announcements mean that we’ll see different types of ads when watching free content on the platform. Scene Sense will be a new ad format with interactive details. When pausing content, an overlay will give the viewer information like casting, soundtrack, trivia, and more. Brands will be able to use the ads to deliver messaging that aligns with what’s on the screen. New Interactive Pause Ads are more engaging with options like carousels, trivia and polls that will allow brands to showcase multiple products and messages.
